Comic Journey is a blog site dedicated to exploring comic books from the perspective of two relatively new fans. We will be discussing the comic books that we read and reviewing them from our perspective. As newish fans, we hear every day that comics are too hard to get into, that it is impossible to know where to start, but we disagree. We see comic books like soap operas or history textbooks – you are never going to know everything that happened, and that’s okay.  The point is to have fun reading stories about our favorite heroes and villains.

There are a lot of great comic book sites and amazingly knowledgeable reviewers out there, but that isn’t the point of this blog. We don’t claim to be experts. This blog is for us, the average fan, to share the things we are reading. To discuss the things we like or dislike without pretension. Ultimately, this blog is about us as we continue to explore comics, and we hope that our journey can help lead the way for others.

This site is newbie-friendly, woman-friendly, and generally open to everyone no matter what your previous comic knowledge is. Whether you are an expert or have never read a comic before, we hope that we can provide insight into the world of comic books.
